An iconic portrait of Pike Place Market is the throwing of fish by the fishmongers. It reminds us of a combination of the Italian Market and South Street all rolled into one.
Also right off the Market is Post Alley, home of the Gum Wall.
Follow us as we travel out west from Vancouver to San Diego! The trip will commence on July 21st and end on August 10th, yeah that's right 21 days. We'll also see Pacific Northwest cities Seattle and Portland and see the Fightin' Phils play in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Stay tuned for many more places we will see.

Day 3: Seattle--Bainbridge Island
The destination was an easy half hour ferry trip across the Puget Sound. We hear that the island is the same size as Manhattan. The sights were beautiful.

Day 3: Seattle--Ferry to Bainbridge Island
Drove the car right onto the ferry to cross the Puget Sound to Bainbridge Island. We were told there is amazing pizza over there. The pizza drew us in but the beautiful sights are what we will remember.
Day 3: Seattle--Safeco Field
We caught the 10:30 tour at Safeco Field. Jake talked baseball with our tour guide Art beforehand and amazed him with his knowledge across the entire MLB. It was an enjoyable tour of a pretty cool ballpark.
Day 2: Seattle--Monorail, Crab Pot, Harbor Cruise
We hopped on the monorail from the Space Needle to get back to the hotel. It is essentially a one stop El.
Next was an afternoon sea feast on the dock off the Puget Sound at The Crab Pot. (Suggestion received getting off the plane at the airport)
Lastly, a spur of the moment half priced evening cruise.

Day 2: Seattle--Space Needle Video
Please excuse the poor camera work. This is Bre walking around a crowded observation deck with a laptop. Yes, kinda silly.
