Day 21: PHILADELPHIA!!!

Day 21: San Diego--Cab to the Airport

Jake always gets extensively searched at the airport. Note to self: Do Not Attempt to Hide a Bomb in Jake's Chair.

Day 20: San Diego--Little Italy

On the walk back we come across San Diego's Bail Bonds Row.

Day 20: San Diego--The US Grant Hotel

The hotel told us they had bad news: there was no ADA room available. But they also had good news: we were upgraded to a suite in this beautiful hotel.

Day 20: San Diego--Petco Park

The Park at the Park is open to the public for free anytime other than home game days.

The screen broadcasts all the away games (with sound).

Even the homeless can enjoy Padre baseball.

The Western Metal Supply Company building was deemed historical and therefore not allowed to be torn down. Petco Park was built around it.

The Showley Bros Candy Factory is also historical but was originally located within the present ballpark. A local that we bumped into who was friends with a transplant, wearing a Wawa sweatshirt, told us they lifted and moved the building for construction of the ballpark.

The neighborhood was recently gentrified as a result of the park and has very nice restuarants and highrise condos with views.

Day 20: Newport Beach

This was our favorite beach town we saw in California because it reminded us most of the shore.

Day 19: Los Angeles--Dodger Stadium

It was awesome meeting up with Mike and Jackie at the game. We forgot to take a picture since we were too involved with catching up. But we do know they are sitting some where in this crowd.

The crowd was paying more attention to the beach balls at times during the game.

We parked this close to the entrance which was super close to our seats.
